Bob Mould (Husker Du, Sugar) interview

Postby MK » Sat Jul 30, 2005 10:43 pm

Bob talks about his career, everything from Husker Du to Sugar to his new record, "Body of Song" (which came out on Tuesday and has gotten good reviews). Over an hour long with three solo, electric guitar performances of three songs from the new record (the second performance, "Circles," is the best), he also takes questions from listeners and picks out that week's "Desert Island Jukebox" selection. He chooses a song from LOVELESS and talks extensively about it.

GREAT interview, check it out:

Thanks -- I'll listen to it soon. I've got the new record and it's pretty good -- a nice mix of Sugarish guitar rock and his more recent electronic stuff (sometimes in the same song).

I only wish his fall tour was coming closer than seven hours from here.
