Personally, I wouldn't spend the money on it. I have read newpaper distillations of it. If you have read it, please share your thoughts on it, with us. Sorry, I have not read the book. While we are on that, I would rather light my eyebrows on fire and beat them out with oars than read Clintons book!

Have you read the book yet?

Allright, I give. Getting people killed is worse than breaking the law.

No, it is not OK to lie. However, it is illegal to lie when you are under oath. Well, what's worse: lying about a blow job (under oath!), or lying about weapons that don't exist, which directly puts US troops in danger? Luke, I think lying is lying and it is wrong either way. When all said and done...

On some reflection, it should be a little refreshing to get some kind of diversion from the Rush Limbaugh/FOX News/C(ommie)N(ews)N(etwork)/Dennis Miller. I have to admit, that I've been going to buzzflash.com to get the, socalled, Liberal News Network slant on things...just to mix things up, and ge...

There are also lossless usenet newsgroups that have these types of discs posted occasionally.

Re: Two unrelated news items that seem to belong together

I used to like him, but he's been veering sharply to the right over the past few years, finally bottoming out with his jingoistic cheerleading for the Iraq war and hearty embrace of the Bush presidency. Ryan He is still a funny guy in my opinion. They all don't have to be bleeding hearts to be funny.

Hillary Clintons new book details her pain.

http://www.salon.com/news/wire/2003/06/04/hillary_book/ It must have been so hard for her, but love conquers all. Imagine her being so mad, hardly being able to breathe and gulping for air. I am sure he never lied to her before - no wonder she was so mad! Let us hope Bubba did not have to keep comp...

With the exception of some Shiites, I bet most of them would say they are ALOT better off without Saddam.

Matt, you've missed the point. The war was fought ostensibly because Saddam posed a threat to the United States. So far it would appear that this was a lie. That doesn't bother you? Aaah. Most voters probably feel the same as you anyway, so what's the point. All presidents lie, hey even Clinton did...

Wow, there really was no reason for a war. Not even a moral obligation. What a nice guy Saddam was! Gosh we were so mislead.

For real? Are you talking higher military ranks? I thought just like Dubya, Slick Willy was generally considered an Idiot by most.
