Isolation is expensive, my friend. I'm actually renting a second apartment just for my turntable. Some people may worry about the extra 100 feet of cabling that that requires. However, my investment in titanium Grover cables insures that there will be no smeared transients due to signal loss.

Hey pal , how many $100K turntables have you designed? :x Seriously, it's all about the trickle-down. In a few years, you'll be able to buy a $75K turntable utilizing the same technology. That's a 25% savings right there. The $75K model may not have the same classy medieval torture device/sex toy lo...

Oooooh, I'd like to see Xenu's PM too.

Can you send it my way, David? This is Ess Ay here. I'm a big mover'n'shaker in the anti-SHtv world, ya know. I promise I won't reprint it at SC.

Elton John and Dionne Warwick sang that song "that's what friends are for" I think it's a pretty song!! Elton John also sang that song "Tiny Dancer". Did you know that a "tiny dancer" is British slang for penis ?! I always thought he sang, "Hold me closer, Tony Da...

BTW, it is relatively easy to create a PAL DVD that will play on nearly any "NTSC-only" player. Just download a free copy of IFO Edit and manually change all of the PAL flags to NTSC flags. It works like a charm. Really...I've read it does not work with consistancy. Not so easy as 1 2 3. ...

Though it's a bit pricier ($199), the very best PAL>NTSC DVD player I've found is the Oppo OPDV971H. The conversion is perfect, with no skipped frames. In addition, it has a Faroudja deinterlacer which does a beautiful job of upconverting to 1080i. It also decodes HDCD and plays DVD-Audio. I bought ...
