Zombie Heaven - attn: Xenu

I've been eyeing the Zombie Heaven boxed set for a while now. I've got the DCC Steve Hoffman-produced best-of disc (the 15-track version), but it's missing some songs I enjoy. I've been curious how the sound compares on Zombie Heaven , and whether it's a worthwhile investment. Xenu, Luke said you we...

The word Democracy means literally "by the people." This is the basis of our government and society.

We're actually a Republic, not a Democracy, which probably better shows why events have happened as they have.

we believe that there's simply no amount of money that could truly compensate these brave men and women for what they went through and for the suffering that they went through at the hands of Saddam Hussein And therefore they get nothing? How sad. I've seen few people avoid answering the question a...

Liberal media, my ass. They buried this story.

This is the kind of thing that needs to get out, somehow. Letters to the editor, whatever. But it wouldn't suprise me if it got supressed one way or another.

Reminds me a bit of Good Morning, Vietnam.

I love the way they are deciding for the consumer, what it is WE are listening to, and paying for, and how they are characterizing this junk. What makes you think they are deciding for the consumer? Even if they're saying "Go out and buy this, it's good!" that's really no different from any other f...

All I can say is "UGH" ! Sounds like some person's A&R wet dream ? When I was starting college, and therefore in the 18-24 demographic, back in 1995, I knew of a lot of people my age and younger who were all over the Anthology releases, and picking up other collections as well. Today's average 18-2...

When I first read this article, if found it very disturbing. The Catholic Church has taken a very ignorant and irresponsible position here, a position with very severe consequences. I don't have a problem per se with groups or people promoting abstinence. But the fact of the matter is you can't keep...

Dangerous precedent set in England

A friend of mine e-mailed this to me. Martin is refused parole as 'danger to burglars' By David Sapsted January 17, 2003 Tony Martin, the farmer jailed for shooting dead a teenage burglar, had his application for parole rejected yesterday. The three members of the Parole Board, who met in London to ...

But Elvis ranks high with me anyway. His command, confidence and sheer vocal charisma are devastating. The problem is that the post-Army years had a lack of good material. I agree with that. I think he had a fantastic voice for the kind of music he was doing in the early part of his career, and fro...

I've always felt that's what a healthy dose of silence is good for. If I'm making a CD-R of an album with bonus tracks, I generally separate the bonus tracks from the album with a 20 second pause. That's certainly another alternative, and something I wish had been done on the Queen remasters from 1...

It's '62-'66 all over again. I think in the end there's something to be said about album continuity. I'm sure it's probably about the money, being able to price it as a two disc set when everything would fit on one disc, but I don't necessarily see anything wrong with using two discs to separate di...

Whoever at Verisign thought this up should be shot. I've come to think everyone at Verisign should be shot. Some time ago, I was reading a newsletter from Steve Jackson (of Steve Jackson Games), and they had a total nightmare in dealing with Verisign when they changed web hosts. Are they hoping to ...
