Here's the WLY promo video, complete with one wiped out cherub and the infamous Mrs. X... At least part of this has shown up in color on the 25x5 video.

------------- I'm divided on this one. Stirs up a lot of emotion and conflicted thoughts. The mind says, life in prison offers the ability to reverse a decision if it's proven someone is innocent through DNA evidence or otherwise. The gut says if one of my relatives beaten to death and the person op...

If you havent checked yet... Can someone with a standard ABKCO vinyl copy (pre "digitally remastered" of course) of MHR confirm a few things for me? a) Is "I'm Free" the slower version on "December's Children" or the slightly faster version that gets used on the reissue...

Reissue campaign to promote the tour and get megabucks? Of course. Its ABKCO. That it turned out pretty good is great? I'd say its a miracle. Its ABKCO. I'm astounded (honestly) that 12 x 5 came out with 6 stereo tracks instead of 2 or 3. Will we get to hear more stereo stones in the future? Doubtfu...

Heh. You think this is nauseating, you should see the original! I edited this HEAVILY.

Isn't there noise reduction on the SACD layer?

Regarding "Now!"--yeah, he's confused there.

This was posted back in 2002 on SHTV (I think you dug this up Luke). I guess it just seems odd. Seems like someone is saying Chess stereo "good" RCA stereo, in most cases, "bad". All of the Chess tracks released in stereo at some point in the past are in stereo on the SACDs. Thats a *huge* difference from the pre-aftermath RCA tracks that have sho...

I wish we had someone we could seriously consult regarding sources. They seem to be all over the map (and I stil maintain, incidentally, that ABKCO and London had the same sources for a few discs). We need to plant a mole somewhere at Abkco. I'd like to have Bob Ludwigs ear for a few hours. As for ...

Rolling Stones - "Looking Tired"

I've heard two versions of this song--a mono version with very good fidelity and the stereo version on Could You Walk on Water that sounds like its from a good source, but has a lot of noise reduction. Anyone heard a good stereo version *without* the noise reduction?
