Would this be a good time to point out that Steve's mastering of Metallica's "Ride The Lightning" makes my girlfriend horny? Ryan I don't know Ryan. Does your girlfriend get horny from watching "Leave It To Beaver" also? Maybe you are just very lucky. Maybe it's your 'knob-tweaking' that gets her h...

V., V...the Final Battle, Children of Dune....Perfect, well made, escapist fair, that doesn't really promise much, up-front, but pays off BIG, in terms of entertainment. It's like a cerebral massage, even though it's For-Tv made. Really good Sci-fi, without really trying. Have you heard that Ken Jo...

The group will work more along the model of U.N. weapons inspectors. So let me get this straight. We had to invade Iraq and kill thousands of civilians because what the UN inspectors were doing wasn't working. Saddam had huge steaming piles of WMDs just sitting around waiting to be dumped into nurs...

I won't vouch for hair dryers, but no problem with laptops as long as you're runnin' on batteries.

So, you have extensive experience using battery-powered devices in public baths?

Don't answer that.

I'm no Bush-lover, but this seems to be nit-picking based on his habitually sloppy speaking style. He said "I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on. And I used to fly, myself, and I said, well, there's one terrible pilot. ...

Yeah, a 5.1 Highway 61 would be a lot of fun.

As for Another Side, it'll probably be somewhat like 5.1 of Kind Of Blue, mostly just added ambience and stuff. I fail to see the point of doing that versus releasing, say, the quad mixes that already exist, but what do I know?

That's true. But as President I'd at least be idly curious if other planes were off course, what action the FAA was taking, what the defense status was, and other things like that. But you're right, what he chose to do in those first few moments wouldn't have made a lot of difference in any event. R...

Yes, the national networks were carrying the live feeds from the local NY stations soon after the first plane hit. We were watching the first tower burn for several minutes before the second plane hit. But no way did Bush see the first plane hit, as he claims. And his story doesn't make sense if wha...

The six titles reported above are going to be multichannel -- there have been several ads published to that effect, in addition to the press releases.

I agree, though, that it's a shame the mono mixes aren't on there.

Yeah, I saw the second plane hit live. I'll never forget it. "Oh, Christ, did I just see what I think I just saw?" Here at the office, we all have TVs at our desks because a big part of our business is live auctions, and people like to keep tabs on them via closed-circuit cameras. The guy across the...

Yep. I'd add Clear Channel to the list of suspects as well, for making radio so generic and uninteresting.
