The vocal/harmonies sound considerably clearer than the rhythm track on that top link.

The closest I've seen to what you're looking for is this, but unfortunately it only records four tracks at once: Tascam 488 MKII 8-Track Home Studio / ***NEAR MINT*** I've got a 424 MK II (four track). Its fussy to use, but can give good (not great) results w/care and some XLII-S casettes. The cheap...

One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces.
That one ain't bad--different at least. Liked "Echoes" in the Pompeii film too. Floyd was never a favorite band of mine--Water's smug pessimism got a bit old. At least they tried different stuff though.

I like the more common Arnold Layne video slightly more, but this one is fantastic nonetheless. Cool find.

Here's a less-common version of the Have You Seen Your Mother Baby video:

That "Look of the Week" clip is the only interview I've seen with Barrett in a lucid state. Pretty articulate, in fact. Astronome Domine is just way out there-- '66 was quite a year.

Changed my mind several times w/these, except for A I have to go with A as my favorite, no contest. Those snare (?) shots come through *real* clear w/lots of presence. Almost sounds like the drums are jumping out at you. F'n hell. I'll take the extra hiss any day. B Ok overall, drums sound a little ...

There was a recent thread in SHTV noting that some of the Abkco discs were manufactured in other countries such as West Germany, but I don't know if that has any bearing on this issue.
