I remember these guys from the mid 90's. Sounded like a bar band that was influenced by Bad Company and old Aerosmith. Really didn't do anything for me either. Currently residing in the "where are they now" file along with Brother Cane and The Bottle Rockets. Here today gone tomorrow. So I can assu...

That's right. Also "Bad Thing." And, yes, Audley Freed was the guitarist.

I remember, as a kid, laughing at Simon & Garfunkel's "So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright" and wondering why Simon would release--let alone write--a song about an architect, obviously not your usual song subject. Yet I came to appreciate his point: Wright was as creative in his own way as the Beatles(or S...

Re: forrest gump

The Shawshank Redemption may be one of the best revenge stories of all time; I'd love to read the novella. It may be second only to The Count of Monte Cristo , but after reading the book, I'm very leery of seeing any of the movies. Alexandre Dumas was brilliant. If you like revenge stories (and you...

I've always loved that the "Sunshine Days - Best of the Brady Bunch" disc has a cover of "I'd Just Like To Be Your Friend" from "Begin," of all things. I'm not entirely positive, but I'm pretty sure this is a threadcrap. I am going to have you slapped on the wrist for this one. The Brady Bunch movi...

Surely that's not a proper mono mix (?). Was that the last mono Zappa in the US? Promo only?

Did you actually go into Reckless? Is there one in Chicago? I've been to the two stores in London (I think there are two...). Got a McCartney Unplugged LP for 3 UKP there.
