No, Ed, your attempt to seduce your neighbor's daughter does not make you a bad person. Loneliness is bad. Actually, drugs, profanity and loneliness are all bad. That you are using the Japan issue of the gold disc shows me that you care about this girl--that this isn't just a new conquest for you. Y...

Sundazed Mono "Surrealistic Pillow"

I just today picked up a cheap used copy of the Sundazed LP. I've just begun comparing it to mono portion of the BMG gold CD and so far the LP is by far the more listenable of the two [the CD is very fatiguing]. Question: is this issue of the mono LP the last word on this release [I don't have an or...

I think we're getting a bit off topic here. So lets focus here. If we don't there's no telling how far off track we'll get. The next thing you know we'll be discussing what kind of music and the quality of its mastering gets our girlfriends (real, imagined or inflatable) wet and willing. Warmest, S...

I'm using MS Internet Explorer. I just conpared the "reply" box here with the one at SH.tv--it's smaller here and kind of difficult to read. The font sizes on the forum pages themselves would appear to be the same, however.

Re: forrest gump?

Forrest Gump is definitely not the best movie of all time. How can you be so sure? Have you ever been retarded? Well, I haven't but I learned just how successful retarded people can be in life from the movie "Forrest Gump." Plus, Tom Hanks kind of looked a little retarded which I felt added a "real...

I'm not sure I quite understand your post, Ed. "Making a part of the world safer for everyone" refers to Iraq, right? "Everyone" must refer to both Iraq's immediate neighbors and those living within Iraq's borders. But the ostensible original purpose of this war was to destroy weapons of mass destru...

Luke: The default font for the entire board would appear to be too small. In particular, the font displayed when typing a post is waay too small. It's possible that the default font size is something you can change, seeing as you're Top Dog and all. "McGoodwin"? Read that on ICE.

To change your analogy of "big kid" and "teachers" just a little, it could be said that Bush is the "big kid" and the "no teachers in sight" could be both Congress and the American people. Bush, who would appear to have been heavily influenced [used] by others, has been able to send American troops ...

I think "Forrest Gump" may be the best movie of all time because it made me feel good. And it showed just how successful a retarded person can be in life if he [or she, as the case may be] just works real hard and applies himself [or herself, as the case may be].

A forum without a few characters is going to be dull as all hell, and a guy like Dave Goodwin is the perfect antidote for that. This is the second time I've read a reference to David McGoodwin on this forum. Why is he so essential to this forum's succvess? Look at SteveHoffman.tv--it seems to be do...

Why is it important if David McGoodwin is here or not? He uses profanity. I don't like that. He accuses others of using drugs. I do not use drugs, but I accept that what other people do in the privacy of their homes or at large concert venues is their own business. So I think accusing people of usin...
