Alexander Keith wrote:I have a Polydor set that lists the discs manufactured in W. Germany by PDO so I assume it is an earlier version.

Disc 1 - 800 078-2 03 #
Disc 2 - 800 079-2 05 #

This matches my set; I got mine 1988/89.

Time for a bit of light entertainment (comedy - not music related) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76js5PQEj3k Do you guys have "The Micallef P(r)ogram(me)" over there? If not ... It aired in Australia between 1998-2001. It took until late 2004 to release any of it on DVD (I guess Shaun Mic...

I can't understand why they changed the *pitch* for the TKAA DVD but not the *speed*. FYI it was the correct pitch/speed on the RCA CED version. Stereo too. Was the CED PAL or NTSC? Might not make a difference either way... Thing is, TKAA is a mish mash of straight transfers and speed changes. I'm ...

I just posted this at sh.tv: 1 has a flakey stereo image ... as though it's a dub of a dub? It wavers a bit but is also tilted a bit to the right. Not for me. 2 is nice and solid; fairly balanced tone wise. 3 runs fast; wavers a bit stereo image wise, brighter but not necesarilly for the better. Not...

Those Pink Floyd vids are great - I was watching some of those last night (didn't post because it was very late). "See Emily Play" is an odd "after the fact" promo. The only band member making any effort to mime the lyrics? Dave Gilmour. With the "Flaming" clip, it's wo...

I'm going from memory right now - aren't there a few edits on "When The Whip Comes Down" aswell? I seem to recall a few stereo hiccups on that one on the remaster.
