I've been using a neat piece of free-ware from Opcode Digital Media called 'OpD2d'. Real-time 16 bit/44.1 kHz recording off the soundcard straight to WAV.

I can't access the site, but do a search on OpD2d for links & such...

I'm surprised Pedro's and OiNK (and their ilk) haven't been shut down in high-profile-style by the RIAA by now...I guess they're too busy putting the screws on single moms 'n' teeny-boppers to address the real piracy that's running rampant around them. Oh, yeah -- let's not forget China while we're ...

"Trader's Little Helper" is the best tool I've found for fixing any track split I've made:

Just a quick follow-up question: I've been able to register with all the sites except Dime A Dozen. Every time I've checked over the last month I still get the same message telling me I can't register 'cause they've reached their 100,000 user limit. Yet, when I check the stats (currently showing 10...

There has been some debate regarding the correct speed of the RJ recordings. Many think that ALL RJ CD's and LP's run way too fast. If you slow it down it sounds more 'normal'...I have a file on my computer somewhere with some 'speed corrected' RJ. I'll see if I can find it. Here's a link to the si...

Don't feel too bad -- it seems to be a trend these days. We've got a vinyl warehouse called 'Bananas' in St. Petersburg, FL that has the most amazing stock, but all un-priced until it's time to check out. It's then they pull out the latest record guide and determine everything pulled is stone-cold m...

The member from which this information is com...
