Let us remember, that in his day he was considered quite the boy wonder as a producer/recordist (as well as musician/composer). The cool music press kind of lost interest in him when he went prog with Utopia.

Bye Bye Rummy!

http://www.cnn.com 1:12 PM WASHINGTON (AP) -- Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, architect of an unpopular war in Iraq, intends to resign after six stormy years at the Pentagon, Republican officials said Wednesday. Officials said Robert Gates, former head of the CIA, would replace Rumsfeld. The d...

Anyway, it has come to this now, a bomb. I can imagine this was just a warning. You don't go through all the trouble to bomb paypal and not be dead f'in serious. And a mental case. FWIW, I've never had any hassles with Paypal. They 'make their money' off me by transfer fees. The only requests for p...

But it doesn't run all night. And the lack of a 'purple line' connector between the two spurs of the red line in MD was always annoying. I've done subways in NYC, Boston, DC, Paris, London, Tokyo....each one has its charms. I'm loving NYCs again now that I've moved back here. Noisy as hell, though.

Man, I wasn't expecting the huge font. You just know that Tinsley wanted to draw Studds actually fucking the page in the ass, but his editors wouldn't let him. Oh, and I remember the Studds/Crane scandal (anyone surprised that Tinsley didn't mention Crane?), and I was younger than the page at the t...

I'm wondering, btw, after having made a few dozen of these, whether whenever I get a 'smooth' curve like the ones on this graph (versus the very 'spikey' graphs I get on most), it's because the same digital source was used for both CDs in the comparison... or maybe even the same analog source? The f...

Well, yes, that is the point of at least some of the people who object to 'Islamofascist' too -- it blurs the meaning of *fascist*...as did the reckless use of the term as an epithet by the left in the 60s and onward. More common is objection to the term because of suspicion about the motives of peo...

These are Prince clips I recorded to VHS back in '91 , when he was on the Arsenio Hall show with his "New Power Generation' band. I must say, YoutUBe's compression schemes kinda suck, even using hteir recommended settings, because the original .avi files I made look much better. anyway: Let'sGo...
