Quad 5.1 tracks -- when were they mixed?

Figured this would be the place to ask -- That handful of 5.1 tracks on the deluxe box -- are those the ones Pete worked on some years back for a 5.1 Quadrophenia release that he 'got bored with' (I remember reading) , or were they created just for this new release? (They sound like ass, btw. So I'm...

Re: Mallard Fillmore

Gee, that's some brilliant cartooning. I laffed and laffed. Next up: the boy douche spouts an entire Wikipedia page. The girl douche says, 'Oh, go on, you." Hilarious! I love it when these hypocritical bastards complain about the economic stimulus 'bankrupting' the economy. Like much of the def...

Re: Blue Screen of Death on a dual-boot PC

Well, thatnks to some Googling, I was able to employ the Windows Debugger to read my memory dump files. From that I found that the misbehaving driver was likely to be for my laptop's Intel wireless networking device; downloading and installing an updated driver *seems* to have done the trick...we s...

Re: Blue Screen of Death on a dual-boot PC

Thanks. Are there any online step-by step guides for diagnosing a driver-related BSOD? I'd rather do this rationally than by trial and error.

Blue Screen of Death on a dual-boot PC

I have an HP laptop n, about four years old, that has XP and Ubuntu Linux on it. For the past few months I've been getting lots of BSODs while on the XP side. Most of the time I'm able to reboot into XP, other times I have to go through a boot cycle on the Linux side to be able to reboot into the XP...

If you want to see how the McCain campaign played out behind the scenes over the last couple of months, read these two articles this on on how Sarah Palin came to be picked (basically, she gave stiffies to the loathsome old white male conservative punditocacy when they took a jaunt to Alaska in '07/...

Yes! It's about fucking time!

If McCain's going to countenance the 'Obama is a friend of terrorists' bullshit, Obama needs to ram home McCain's involvement in the Keating Five scandal.

Like I said... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/03/AR2008100303738_pf.html Sen. John McCain and his Republican allies are readying a newly aggressive assault on Sen. Barack Obama's character, believing that to win in November they must shift the conversation back to quest...

The October "surprise' is going to be a more overt and aggressive push to link BO to 60's-type radical lefties. It's already begun.

Matt, you realize of course that some of the most dismissive reactions to her selection initially came from *conservative* and *republican* commenters/pundits -- talking to the dreaded mainstream media -- right? And now they're all slobbering over her, the hypocrites. As far as stuff that involves m...

The asshole portion of the electorate -- 1/4 of all voters, according to South Park -- were just waiting for an excuse to feel right about voting Repubagain. Now they have it in the Alaskan 'baby mama's' mama.
