I'm in similar trouble. My favorite son (I have only 1) destroyed my favorite headphone. One ear doesn't work anymore. It was a pretty dumb JVC thing with 2 great advantages: it had at least 4 metres of wire, so you could really walk around with it and it had a little mono swith which was very handy...

I had it with the single 'Shadow' by the Lurkers (and the b-side too). It could be that we are actually seeing the bottom of the groove. And that the vinyl wasn't cut right.

Does anyone know a program or plugin for restoration of sound from cassettes? I mean simply solving the problems of hiss, spectral difference between R & L and this 'azymuth problem'?
