Re: What the fuck is wrong with Wisconsin?

Where to begin... What I find not so mildly ironic is the same folks that were critical of Obama's "elections have consequences" quip and rallied to GOP gains last November are now saying the same thing and are far more arrogant than Obama ever was. My hope is that the outrage (and there'...

Re: What the fuck is wrong with Wisconsin?

Is it the position of the recall supporters that in effect government workers should be able to determine their own benefits irregardless of the wishes People who are the ones that actually pay for their benefits? Do you believe that they should be the ones driving the train completely as far as ben...

Re: Ken Mehlman comes out

Traditional Repubs and Christian Conservatives need to get over their homophobia for sure (yes I said it). I hope eventually most of them will come to the same conclusion like me that Pursuit of Happiness absolutely includes sexual orientation and that discrimation against gays is equally as wrong a...

Re: Dear Harry Reid...

As far as "repairing our image with Islam" I don't think we can ever repair our image no matter what we do because a large percentage of Islam hates us to the core. Islam is prolly the most xenophobic, exclusive, intollerant system Man has deluded himself with to date. We Westerners are pe...

Re: Dear Harry Reid...

Reasonable people can agree that the Mosque (or whatever it is) prolly should not be so close to the pit that used to be the WTC simply out of basic Human respect. I find it analagous to building a German cultural center 2 blocks from Auswich or a US Cavalry museum around the corner from Wounded Kne...

Re: Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) explains the internet

Ya know sometimes it's good to have old people for wisdom about stuff but a lot of the time their view of the World only goes as far. I think at some point in your 20s or 30s you just stop absorbing anything new. We really need fresh blood up there, on both sides.

Re: Beatles Rock Band moggs

As I expected homebrew remixes are being created and posted left and right and the Rock Band stems are being bootlegged as in. What we really need is someone to take the time and clean up the stems, remove the mostly fake countins, restore the correct endings (even if faded), reverse the fake stem s...

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

Obama is at best a centrist. Hahaha, after the mid-terms certainly, just like Clinton. Forget the Bush "Miss me yet?" T-shirts... gimme the Clinton "Miss me yet?" T-shirts. Maybe he'll get religion and do a John F. Kennedy and actually come out for mild personal AND capitol gain...

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

I just said he was a left-wing corporatist, never said Marxist or Communist. People use the nastier terms just cause it's easy. People are often lazy, like labeling people racists just cause they don't support Obama. I've read tons of commentary posts at the CNN website that show this typical respon...

Beatles Rock Band moggs

Yay! The Rock Band moggs files are finally leaking out. :D I downloaded some and then played them in Audacity (free audio program also) and they are really fun. A lot of the audio is submixes (ie. double-tracked vocals mixed together) though. The sound quality is excellent but prolly still not as go...

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

The US currently has the lowest taxation it's had since Truman was President , which is reflected in the towering debt. How much farther "out of our wallets" should it go? Well I doubt most people (especially ones that acheived a certain level) feel they are undertaxed. The income, proper...

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

It's the white people, stupid. Can somebody point out to me who has called Obama "the chosen one", "the messiah", or "an African god"? Limbaugh and Hannity jokingly call him the Messiah often but that's just making fun of his demeanor based on things he's actually said...

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

I saw an interesting show on PBS where a Liberal guy pointed out that what we have in America is a form of Corporate Facism. It's not overt from the top down like Hitler but is from the bottom up with a few large corporations and banking interests having total influence on the political leaders. Not...

you've/we've... same thing, it all goes to a self-delusion of greatness and importance was my point.

Re: The 2012 Republican Nominee?

Which type are you? cute graphic. I'm the kind that's fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I'm the kind that want's government out of our wallets and out of our bedroom. I'm the kind that wants to see the Corporatist Party and the Socialist Party loseing power all around. The fact is any vot...
