Muse Black Holes and Revelations
I reccomend this new release to all of you out there. This is imo the best album I have heard in four years. Very creative, listenable and mixed well. Good ear candy..

Actually the original sound of the Priest albums was shotty to say the least. Ya can't remaster crap into good no matter how good your equipment is. The above was written by a fan of Judas Priest (Halford years only) Not necessarily true of Sad Wings Of Destiny (or, at least, it's not shotty in the...

The photo above agreeably IS a Cassette Deck. But let us not forget the best 70's vintage deck, the Pioneer PL-900. Three head, double capstan direct drive sexy uh uh ohh! You don't know about Nakamichi decks? The Dragon is generally considered one of the best decks ever. I've only ever used a DR-2...

Starting with the song 'Free Four' off of 'Obscured by Clouds' Waters began addressing aging, death and loss in his songs -- often with a refreshing lack of sentimentality, though some might call it a callous lack of sympathy. I think I've said elsewhere on this forum that nearly everything Waters ...

Pink Floyd - Animals
Having had all the CD versions of this which is to say the Jap pressing, original US, UK CD, ect... the remaster is quite good and I would recomend that only secondary to vinyl of course :) In fact all the newer remasters are very good sound wise as technology has improved since the advent of the sh...

The post-Waters band has performed *lots* of songs with Waters writing credits, so it's not that they want to deny him royalties. They've never performed anything from Saucerful of Secrets , More , Obscured By Clouds , Atom Heart Mother , or Animals , either, AFAIK. It's more likely the reason is t...

Not denying that on some tracks it's just Waters + session guys; just sayin' that the tracks cited by britre don't all fit that description. It's not nessessarily true Gilmour in fact played on any of the tracks on TFC at all, but.... it sure does sound like Gilmour style on "Not Now John" and "You...

How About This one
Bake Me A Honey ham by Tracy Lawrence He was sittin’ there, his brush in hand Bakin’ waves as they danced, upon the sand With every stroke, he brought to life The deep blue of the ocean, against the mornin’ sky I asked him if he only painted ocean scenes He said for twenty dollars, I’ll bake you any...

All the while, parents are trying to explain penile erectile dysfunction to their daughters... This statement puts it all in perspective! Jackson's boob? Please... Dolly Parton had bigger ones with more presence during primetime shows, and I turned out allright. Also, and hopefully I am not being o...

Britre, what was the name of the company that sold the phasing devices in Music Direct? The description in the catalog was classic MD. Ms. Cleo would have approved. Tritium Electronics, he is a local weirdo here in West Allis Wisconsin, once you meet Mike, you never forget him ;) http://www.triphaz...

I have to admit, I also love this catalog. So many cool "LP" related items to work 24-7 to afford! On a more serious note though, the LP selection in the catalog is shall we say "intense" with the "if we don't have it, no one does" impression! I in the past, induldged in a few purchases, and actuall...
